Student Resources

Montana has a rich legacy of public service, and for many, it’s a dedication that begins while still in school. It’s my honor to offer internships in our Senate offices, nominate Montana students to serve as Senate pages and nominate Montana’s high school students to our nation’s military academies.

Below you’ll find information about various educational opportunities available to both Montana’s high school and college students:

As the son of a Marine, I hold members of the United States Armed Forces in the highest esteem. I consider it an honor and a privilege to nominate outstanding young Montanans to compete for an appointment to the United States Service Academies.

The Office of U.S. Senator Steve Daines is currently offering internships for Spring, Summer and Fall sessions.  Opportunities exist in offices across Montana and in Washington, D.C.

High school students from the state of Montana are eligible to apply for the U.S. Senate Page Program. This program provides an excellent opportunity for students to learn about the United States Congress while living, working, and attending classes for a semester in Washington, D.C.  Pages play an important role in the day-to-day operation
