Daines, Tester, Gianforte Announce Ennis’s William Gilmore’s Offer of Appointment from West Point

U.S. SENATE —U.S. Senators Steve Daines and Jon Tester and Congressman Greg Gianforte today announced academy nominee William Gilmore’s offer of appointment from the United States Military Academy. Will lives in Ennis, Montanan and attends Ennis High School.

“With an exceptional academic, athletic and leadership record, William is one of Montana’s finest students,” said Daines. “West Point would be lucky to have him. I know he will go on to make Montana and America proud.”

“William is an ambitious young man, and it’s one of my greatest honors as a Senator to nominate Montanans like him to our nation’s service academies,” said Tester. “He has proven himself to be a talented athlete and accomplished student at Ennis High School. I have no doubt that William will continue to succeed and make Montana proud at West Point.”

“William will make an excellent cadet at West Point. He’s a leader at Ennis High School, serving as president of the student body, president of the National Honor Society, and captain of the football team. An outstanding student and talented athlete, William has a very promising future, and will make Montana proud,” Gianforte said.
