Daines, Gianforte, Tester Announce US Military Academy Appointment

U.S. CONGRESS — U.S. Senators Steve Daines and Jon Tester and U.S. Representative Greg Gianforte announced today that Kamrin Rosling of Helena received an appointment to the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, NY.  Rosling is currently a student at the University of Montana. 

“Receiving an appointment to West Point is a tremendous accomplishment, and I congratulate Ms. Rosling,” Daines said. “She is an outstanding candidate and I look forward to seeing what she will accomplish as an Army officer. Montana has a rich legacy of service and I am always humbled that so many of our best and brightest young people are willing to step up and serve their nation.”

“Kamrin is an outstanding student and an accomplished athlete who will make Montana proud and excel at West Point,” Gianforte said. “I wish Kamrin much success, and I look forward to following her career of service and leadership.”

“Kamrin has excelled in and out of the classroom, and I know her experience has prepared her well for this challenge,” Tester said. “I wish her luck at West Point and I am excited to see what she accomplishes throughout her career.”

Rosling is from Helena and a graduate of Capital High School, where she was a valedictorian, National Honor Society member, and played softball and volleyball. She is the daughter of Kyle and Kima Rosling.
