Daines Congratulates Harlowton High Student on West Point Appointment

U.S. SENATE —U.S. Senator Steve Daines today congratulated Harlowton High School senior Ally Martin on her appointment to the United States Military Academy at West Point.

Martin is a senior at Harlowton High School and received a nomination to the U.S. Military Academy from Daines.  She grew up on a ranch near Two Dot and won the Wheatland County 4-H grand championship project for raising sheep. She is the point guard and captain of her varsity basketball team and was selected last year to serve on the all-state team in her conference.

“Ally is hardworking Montana student who knows the meaning of a hard day’s work,” Daines stated. “I’m thrilled to congratulate her on this prestigious achievement and look forward to watching her become a leader in our armed forces.”

The United States Military Academy is located in West Point, New York.

Montana students interested in applying to any of our nation’s service academy can find more information by visiting Daines’ website.
