Our state’s transportation system promotes economic growth and secures our quality and way of life in Montana, but especially across our rural communities. Daines Secures Over $3 Million to Strengthen Montana Infrastructure, Community Development During Coronavirus Pandemic

Daines Secures Over $48 Million for Montana Transit During the Coronavirus Pandemic

U.S. SENATE – U.S. Senator Steve Daines today announced that $48,935,981 will be made available for Montana transit during the Coronavirus pandemic. “This critical funding helps Montana transit and transportation during this pandemic,” Daines said. “This is about ensuring our transportation industry has the resources and relief they need to get through the Coronavirus outbreak. Daines Secures Over $15 Million for Malmstrom Infrastructure Project in Great Falls

U.S. SENATE – U.S. Senator Steve Daines today announced that $15,077,162 will go to the renovation of an existing 3-Bay hangar at Malmstrom Air Force Base to facilitate the storage of the new MH-139 helicopter. “This is good news for Montana and will help modernize our defense infrastructure at Malmstrom,” Daines said. “We must ensure that our men and women serving in uniform have access to the best equipment available for our national security. Daines Helps Secure Over $4 Million for Bozeman Yellowstone International, Stevensville Airports

U.S. SENATE – U.S. Senator Steve Daines today announced that $4,831,837 will be designated towards the Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport and Stevensville Airport. “This is great news for the folks at Bozeman Yellowstone International and Stevensville airports,” Daines said. “These grants will strengthen our infrastructure to help improve travel to Montana, and support our vital tourism economy.” Daines helped secure the resources for the following grants through the appropriations process.  Of the $4,831,837 grant, $650,000 will be designated towards Stevensville Airport. $4,181,837 will be designate towards Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport.  For more information on the grants, click HERE and HERE.
