U.S. SENATE —U.S. Senator Steve Daines today announced that his colleagues have selected him to chair the prestigious U.S. Senate Agriculture, Nutrition and Forestry Subcommittee on Conservation, Forestry and Natural Resources. The subcommittee is responsible for oversight of the U.S. Forest Service and will play a critical role in forest management reform. The Stopping Mass Hacking (SMH) Act is a bipartisan effort that reverses recently implemented changes to Rule 41 of the Federal Rules of Criminal Procedure.
