Echoes Concerns Raised by Montana Governor Greg Gianforte U.S. SENATE – U.S. Senator Steve Daines today sent a letter to the United States Forest Service (USFS) requesting more transparency about wildfire management strategy actions following recent concerns raised by Montana Governor Greg Gianforte. More transparency will help the public better understand how USFS plans to handle wildfires and will allow for better oversight as well. “Montanans are tired of breathing in smoke and as Governor Gianforte points out, the Biden-Harris Forest Service failed Montanans in a number of areas. Specifically, the Forest Service is not being transparent with state partners and the

U.S. SENATE – U.S. Senator Steve Daines joined a bicameral amicus brief challenging a new rule from Biden-Harris’ Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) that requires state departments of transportation and metropolitan planning organizations to measure greenhouse gas emissions on the highway system and set declining targets.  “This is just another example of the Biden-Harris administration’s executive overreach that attacks our Montana way of life and does nothing but fuel climate alarmism. This rule by the FHWA is unsustainable for rural communities in Montana and I’m proud to join my colleagues in fighting against the Biden-Harris administration’s radical climate agenda,” said Daines. Shortly after the

The layoffs can be attributed to the Biden-Harris administration allowing imports of critical minerals from Russia rather than relying on Montana mines to provide critical minerals to American markets. In addition, the import of Russian minerals is actively funding Russia’s war against Ukraine. Montana is home to the only platinum and palladium

Watch Daines’ remarks HERE. “There’s a good reason why we haven’t seen Kamala Harris out campaigning in some of these key battleground states like Montana and Ohio, because Kamala Harris is the most liberal candidate running for president the Democrat Party has ever nominated. “Don’t take my word for it. The Washington Post’s Philip Bump said on August 13, 2020, and I quote: “‘In 2017, Harris
