U.S. SENATE – U.S. Senator Steve Daines today joined Senators John Cornyn (R-Texas), Tommy Tuberville (R-Ala.) and Tim Scott (R-S.C.) at a press conference to announce the introduction of their bill, the “Justice for American Victims of Illegal Aliens Act.” The legislation codifies President Trump’s Executive Order that subjects illegal aliens who kill an American citizen to the death penalty.
“This legislation sends a strong message across the globe: we will not tolerate the senseless murder of innocent Americans at the hands of illegal immigrants any longer. I’m proud to join Senator Cornyn and my colleagues to take decisive action and support President Trump’s efforts to make our communities safe again,” said Daines.
