U.S. SENATE – U.S. Senator Steve Daines introduced a bipartisan resolution to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the normalization of relations between the United States and Vietnam.
“This year, as the U.S. and Vietnam celebrate 30 years of diplomatic relations, we celebrate the strides our two nations have taken as allies and the bright future of our partnership. I visited Vietnam in March, and have a deep appreciation for our shared interests and goals. I’m proud to introduce this resolution with Senator Merkley to recognize the importance of our strategic relationship in defense, trade, and diplomacy,” said Daines.
