“This is no longer a policy failure. This is a national security crisis.”
U.S. SENATE – U.S. Senator Steve Daines visited McAllen and Brownsville, Texas, yesterday to meet with Border Patrol Agents and get a firsthand look at President Biden’s southern border crisis. Daines received a tour of the U.S Customs and Border Protection Rio Grande Valley Sector Processing Center “Ursula,” a briefing at U.S. Border Patrol Brownsville Station and tours of the Camp Monument site and border fence along the Rio Grande River.
“Montana is a northern border state with a southern border crisis. After my visit to the southern border, one thing is clear – Joe Biden must step up and provide our brave Border Patrol Agents all the tools they need to finally secure our southern border,” said Daines.“Our Border Patrol Agents are overwhelmed. Migrants from around the world are flooding the border by the thousands and drugs are freely passing into our country. This is no longer just a policy failure. This is a national security crisis.”
