U.S. SENATE — U.S. Senator Steve Daines today voted to oppose Washington’s fiscal insanity.
“I voted against fiscal insanity today. Congress must get its fiscal house in order and it is irresponsible for Congress to increase the nation’s debt limit without taking any steps to actually reduce the debt itself. If the Democrats are going to use a partisan process to pass a massive tax & spending spree bill, they can use the same process to raise the debt ceiling,” Daines said.
