U.S. SENATE —U.S. Senator Steve Daines today released the following statement after the U.S. Senate confirmed President Donald J. Trump’s nominee for Secretary of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS), General John F. Kelly.
“Secretary Kelly will protect the homeland from threats,” Daines stated. “My family and I will sleep better at night knowing that General Kelly is the Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security.”
