WASHINGTON, D.C. — Senator Steve Daines today congratulated Missoula student Stephen Reynolds on his appointment to the United States Naval Academy.
Reynolds, a senior at Sentinel High School in Missoula, received a nomination to the Naval and Air Force Academies from Daines earlier this month. Reynolds is currently the student body class president, captain of the varsity football team as well as member of both the National Honor Society and Key Club.
“Stephen Reynolds is a hardworking student excelling both inside and outside of the classroom who exemplifies the best of our state’s commitment to service,” Daines stated. “I am proud to congratulate Steve on his extensive accomplishments in high school and looking forward to watching him become a future leader in the Navy.”
The United States Naval Academy is located in Annapolis, Maryland.
